Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 3
The final version of Windows Server 2016, the OS version of Windows 10, is scheduled for official release in early 2016. Next week, Microsoft is also expected to release WS2016 Technical Preview to its Windows Insider testers. Ahead of these official release dates, however, several screenshots of the new system (and the build itself) have been shared online.
The build number for the leaked version is 10514, and the screenshots depict the install of Windows Server 2016. Based on the screenshots, the build likely comes from the TH2 (Threshold 2) branch, the same branch from which Windows Insider testers received Windows 10 Mobile Build 10512 earlier this week.
Several hours ago, build leaked online, as well – the file is 4.67 GB and is described as an OEM retail image in the name. No other versions have leaked online so far, though leaker Wzor has shared more screenshots of an “Essential Edition” of Windows Server 2016 at build 10514.
